Bruneck Castle
A former bishop's residence in the heart of Pustertal
Situated on a hill in the town of Bruneck, this castle dates back to the 13th century and was built by the then bishop of the town, later to be the residence of many other clerical figures over the years.
Today you can visit it and admire its rooms and halls, and since 2011 it also houses the fifth mountain museum dedicated to Reinhold Messner.
In addition, with the Bruneck Kronplatz Card - which you will receive when you check in - the castle can be visited free of charge.
